Dog Days #23

Just recently with the run up to Christmas we have been quite quiet at Spring Park so me and Brook have been able to do quite a bit of exploring. Most afternoons we have been out on patrol this is a very serious job indeed and we like to make sure we check everywhere!

We have had some frost the last week and I love it if you run fast enough you can feel like you are flying! I am hoping that we might get some snow soon now that would be great.

See you soon

PS. it’s my birthday on Thursday I will be one year old……oh my I can’t wait!

Treaty Tuesday

Well this post is so exciting I can’t stop wagging, not only is it my first post since moving house but it is my favourite one since starting my blog.

Just before we packed up our house and moved I was spending the morning snoozing and relaxing on the big bed, not a situation that happens often so the day was off to a good start!

Then the most unexpected thing happened a letter arrived for me, now I have never had a letter before, Brook has she won a prize but this said my name on it and it smelt good. Brook said we had to wait for the humans to open it but it smelt so good and was post marked from Wagg I couldn’t resist just a little nibble!

Anyway inside this envelope was as lovely looking bag of treats, they are called Tasty Chunks and of course are healthy from nose to tail! Don’t worry doggy friends this doesn’t affect the taste, my human tells me they have no added sugar but again still tasted so good.

We were made to wait before we were allowed one let me tell you it was hard!

We did our best puppy eyes and were allowed to taste them, these treats definitely get the paws up from me and Brook.

In fact Brook did two paws which she only reserves for special occasions these days. There are three flavours Chicken, Ham and Beef so they do not get boring. They are oven baked and suitable for any dog over 8 weeks old, yes that’s right there is no waiting till you are six months!

I also learnt a new trick whilst eating the tasty chunks. I can do sit and paw and waiting to eat my food I am now proud to announce that I can also do high five. Although unless my human trots off to the pet shop soon to get me some more I am considering withdrawing that particular trick from my repertoire.

Thank you so much Dalton and all your friend at Wagg I loved having the chance to taste your treats and give them the Peggy seal of approval now if you will excuse me I am off to beg for more…..

PS. Its good to be back see you soon x

Weekend Roundup

Well that was an eventful weekend folks as some of you might know we are moving out of our house….so next weeks post will be from our temporary home with Kits Mum and Dad. It will be like a holiday with no shop to run but anyway back to this weekends adventures.

On Saturday morning we were all a bit tired from watching Glasonbury on the telly. We went to the Green bank for swimming before we opened the shop for the last Saturday. It was a busy day so me and Brook lounged around in the kitchen and in the back yard saving our energy for The Rolling Stones on Saturday night which we watched from the comfort of our living room….did you know dogs are not allowed in to the actual festival?

Then bright and early on Sunday we went out for a long walk to tire me out so I wouldn’t get in the way of the packing! I still managed to rip up loads of card, eat one flip flop and get in one of the boxes! Nice work Peggy I say. I also came face to face with a very untrustworthy pink flamingo that’s been hiding in our garden if I get a chance at some point I am going to eat it.

I was meant to be getting a hair cut because I am just too hot all the time but on our way home from dropping off lots of boxes our van broke down on Bodmin moor. This meant we had to wait for the nice man from the RAC to come and fix us so there was no time for said haircut. PHEW……… anyway here are some of my pictures from the weekend.

PS. I did not chew through any pipes or wires that made the van brake down, absolutely not. I wanted to have a haircut, oh yes indeed I did.

Little Wish List….

Hello friends,

It’s Friday and I have been doing a little bit of browsing on the internet this morning. I have also been for a lovely walk in which I met two Old English Sheepdogs to play with, I can’t however post any photos because the human part of this team has lost her phone charger and the phone has run out of batteries. Of course we hope to get this sorted out soon but in the meantime I thought a little wish list might be in order. Here are four lovely things for a Friday morning……

Love-my-dog-colloar-Adelina-yellow

This is so pretty gorgeous a Liberty print Adelina Collar from Love My Dog. It starts at £34.00 but me thinks I would need an XL one. I am keeping this on my Christmas list as I might have stopped growing out of collars by then and if I am a well behaved Peggy Sue maybe I will get one of these in my stocking!

mungoandmaud_rabbit

Crikey how cute is this rabbit wouldn’t it make the perfect present for a new puppy. If I was allowed one of these I totally promise that I would not chew her up. I would keep her safe and gently carry her around! I especially love her little pink heart nose. Brook and I will need one each thus ensuring that no tug of war or arguments happen. These are from Mungo and Maud one of my favourite pet websites and are £22.00.

Blink-dog-lead

I discovered this rather fetching hand dyed rope lead on Etsy this morning from blinkthings. I think it would go rather nicely with my new collar! Plus it’s in the sale and is now about £32.00.

Right so once I have got all these nice new things I would really like to pack them up in my little suitcase and head off for a spot of camping and this red and white stripey bell tent will do nicely!

bell-RD-GLAM012 L

From The Glam Camping Company I actually think me and Brook and the humans would be quite happy living in one of these all summer.  I will be saving all my treat money for one of these just imagine all the adventures you could go on if you had a stripey bell tent……

See you soon x

PS I will be saving all my treat money from now on in.
